Mark Gassaway's Home
While visiting Anderson, SC in 2018, Charles and Khadijah Kellogg discovered the locations of Mark Gassaway's story such as the Greeley Institute, Reed School, and St. Paul First Baptist Church. During their tour of Anderson, they were shocked to discover that Mark and Carrie's home was still in standing after all these years.
The descendants of Mark Gassaway and Carrie Walls wish to preserve their home and use it as a space to educate the community as an African-American Heritage museum. Charles and Khadijah hope to pick up where Mark and Carrie left off impacting the lives of young blacks in Anderson and its surrounding communities.
